⁵⁰ And Jesus said unto him, Friend, why art thou come? Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took him.

⁵¹ And, behold, one of those who was with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword and struck a slave of the high priest and smote off his ear.

⁵² Then Jesus said unto him, Put up again thy sword into its place, for all those that take the sword shall perish by the sword.
